Happy Feast Day, friends! This year, I had the honor of capturing the Solemnity Mass and Parish Feast Day Celebration at St. Mary in Royal Oak.
Nobody does feast days quite like the St. Mary parish family- the excitement in the air is tangible, the choir is otherworldly, and Fr. Paul brings such a reverence, warmth, and enthusiasm to liturgical living and celebrating our faith well. We Catholics may be known for fasting, but boy, do we know how to feast :)
The evening Mass was followed by a celebration under the Christmas lights on the rectory lawn, complete with bonfires, s'mores, hot chocolate, and Christmas cookies.
